Suburban properties are to be found around the edge of Swansea Bay from the city centre to the Mumbles Point, in West Cross, Norton and Mumbles town itself. A wide selection of houses can be found in the suburban districts to the north of the city include Cockett, Landore, Penderry, Mynydd Bach, Morriston, Llansamlet, Gorseinon and Gowerton. Rural properties can be found in the villages and seaside resorts on the Gower including Port Eynon, Rhossili, Llangennith, Llanrhidian, Reynoldston, Oxwich, Three Crosses, Bishopston, Dunvant, Langland and Killay. The Welsh language has a varied presence in the county with percentages of Welsh speakers varying from as high as 45% in some rural districts to as little as 6% in the city centre. The total equates to an average of 13% of Welsh speakers in the county.
